Entry 28 - Encyclopedia of Links

The barbarian king looked across the throne room to the small metal door and howled a scream to it : "WIZARD!"
Arthur dropped 3 more drops into the second vial, and placed it inside the strange contraption. The vial clicked into place and the liquid inside bubbled, turned to vapor and was absorbed  The wizard smiled, grabbed his cloak and unlocked the door, stepping into the throne room : "Yes, my king?"
"Wizard, it's been two weeks, the men are getting impatient. Where is the new target you promised?"
"My king, I did say I would need until the moon rose full, did I not? The spells the witch revealed do work, but they take time to prepare, and if I miss just one drop of"- the wizard stopped himself just before saying the chemical composition of a certain acid he was using and decided to say something more mystical - "newt's blood, the entire batch is to go to waste. And after all" - The king cut him short, waving with his hand and asked :
"Can't you just find us a easy target then?"
"Very well sir. I shall look for one we can attack the day after tomorrow."
"Good wizard. Go." - he dismissed the wise man with a brush of his hand and stopped paying attention, focusing instead in one of the dancers.

"damned war loving barbarian, I should send you to a high-tech link just so you'd die. But then I'd die too, and I can't have that, no, no, no." - he wizard muttered while returning to his lab. Instead of continuing what he was doing he grabbed a small book, not much bigger than a stretched hand, and opening it said "search".
On the single page of the book "enter query" appeared and he began : "Link; tech sec IX, max; population 5000, max; Search".
The letters disappeared and reappeared as "searching, please wait". Under it a number appeared, and it started to grow, only to stop at 23562. Arthur looked at the number and said : "Sort; tech, desc." - A "done" appeared.
"Remove; upper 23000" and the number went to 562. "Remove; ruler, A'akr." And 212 were removed. "Remove; current season, winter", 230, the number was now. "Still too many" - Arthur said, and the book replied "unknown command".
"Retain; army, 100, min, 1000, max"
The book searched inside those 230 links for ones corresponding to that numbers and spit out a new number : 37.
"Sort; name, alphabetical, asc" - he waited until the book said it was done, then he asked one last question :
 "Get; 13."
The page was suddenly filled with details about a link, and the Wizard had found the next target for the rage of the barbarians...
